Hi everyone. I'm a sort of newbie in as much I havnt done freshwater aquaponics before. I did a bit of experimenting 12 years ago with Kurama prawns using oysters and macro algae for filtration and composting the algae and residue from the protein skimmers. I've also been a fresh water aquarist for at least 30 years so think its about time I tried this area to get the best of both worlds. I think I would like to try Jade perch but have never tasted them before so does anyone know where I can buy them to do some taste testing? (I'm an ex-chef so I hope they taste good) I would love a face to face chat with anyone from the townsville area if possible. Kind regards Charles |
