Hi and glad to be part of this great group of people who enjoy fish and gardening and are smart enough to put them together in a useful way. Here is a picture of our system:


We used an IBC and have had it for about 2 months now. Yesterday I added 25 gallons due to evaporation and the water changed to a yellow cloudy color. I've added water before and this never happened. Any help or ideas. I am thinking about doing a water change, I can't see my fish any more and don't want them to die.

What are the elbows coming from the GB?

Not sure what the yellowing is from when adding top up water, do you add the water to the FT or GB? If you add it to the GB you may be flushing wastes back into the FT
