The PH of my source water, which is tap water that has been airing in a ventillated tank for a couple of days is...PH 7.8. Can I ignore this? Or will this prevent my plants from extracting certain nutrients? I know the Tilapia will not be bothered by this. Will the introduction of fish bring down the PH? So many questions.

I wouldnt be too fussed with 7.8 but others may suggest to lower it. The nitrification process is acidic and will see your PH drop in time. My source water is around the same and Ive never adjusted mine. I think my system water is around 6.6 at the moment.
