What are you using to get started? I'm about to use a glass FT and some flower pots to build my first system to keep in the house. Gold Fish in the tank and green onions in the grow bed I think. I'm such a noob I honestly don't know what to choose. Kale maybe? |

howdy nigel, i'm in northeast ohio with an indoor system, tilapia and yellow perch (and a couple bluegill) welcome to the addiction! |

If you don't have room for doing it all "tote-style", then I suggest grabbing a copy of Travis Hughey's free "Barrelponics" manual, which is great for working in small spaces. As far as I'm concerned, my "Aquaponics Systems Construction Bible" consists of:
