Hey all! Man I've been obsessed with this idea since my wife got me a 6x8 green house for my birthday last month. I've watched so many videos and read so many pages. I have more questions each day. 1. Should I try a small system in my garage before going all out in the green house? If so how small? 2. What's better constant flow? Or fill and drain? 3. Should I opt for a bigger green house? 10x20? Or would a 6x8 be efficient? 4. Cold water fish? Crawfish? Population and grow amounts? Thanks for any info that you have. I've seen some WA peeps out there... How are your set ups doing? |

(1) You've got the greenhouse... go for it.... (2) Both work just fine... (3) Size does matter... (4) Cold water... sounds like a rainbow trout system to me... Welcome to the forum.. and addiction... |

Thanks Rupert! I don't have the green house up yet as it has been just miserable outside up here. Hence why I was thinking about tryin a small system in the garage first. I've read about trout but am worried that my size of tank would limit their size to less the desirable and heard they get fin rot. Does anyone use crawfish? Or any other cold hardy ideas? |
