GreetingsI'm not only new here this is my first forum expierence. So be gentle with me.. I have no expierece with Aquaculture, only what I have read. I love permaculture and run a small permaculture design busines in Southwest vic incorpirating my stone masonry skills to design and create small scale food scaping with a touch of style. Even though I have never built an Aquaponics system, I'm pretty hands on and will be having a go at my first Aquaculture system pretty soon. I have a few questions, I'm not sure if this is the right place on this forum to ask but i will anyway.. I have not got my hands on a IBC, (yet) but i have a plastic 44 gallon drum which i am going to convert into a small Aquaculture system. im sure i'm not the first person to do this.. can anyone point me in the right direction towards some simular design ideas. and I want use yabbies instead of fish. are yappies easy to grow in an Aquaculture system? I look forward to looking around, getting somee great ideas and meeting some likeminded people |

Welcome David, i am very interested in how your system will work and what species (other than yabbies) do well down your way as a mate of mine wants to get one going and he is in Warrnambool |
