Hi. I am a newbie to the aquaponics area however have kept fresh water aquariums for years. I am about to start a aquaponics system in Sydney Australia. I was wanting to attempt to grow some aquatic plants to stock my aquarium along with some herbs. I am wondering what you guys thought would be the best system to start with? Should I do a bell siphon or just have it running all the time to keep the roots wet as they are aquatic plants? I was thinking of three 55 gallon drums cut in half in a tear formation falling back to the 2x 1000liter tanks with the fish. Thanks in advance |

Continuous flooded would possibly be the simplest and aquatic plants should be happy with that. Simple standpipe works well. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2 |
