Hey everyone! I've been lurking around here for a couple days and decided to join. I've been interested in Aquaponics for some time, but I'm still a complete newbie.

I'm a senior high school student from Slidell, Louisiana.
I've decided to do my senior project ( a year-long research project) on Aquaponics! :mrgreen:

Really excited on joining the forums and beginning my Aquaponics learning experience! :wave:

Welcome jla3! Ask away if you have any questions at all and you'll get help really quickly. Good luck on your project, and please post lots of pictures and plans for your system. If you haven't tried it Google Sketchup is a good way to model your ideas, and you should be able to use images of Sketchup models for your project documentation too. You could build virtual systems to show different ideas, without having to actually physically build them (other than your main real system that is).
