Hello to all.

My name is Jay and I'm new to AP but have been reading and looking to make my own for sometime. I have just finished my first IBC setup. A basic setup for now but hope to learn and expand later.
I have started a fishless cycle and has been going for a week now.So far so good.

Have you insulated behind that cladding? I'm building a IBC system at the moment and have cladded the fish tank in colourbond, same colour too.
I have the cage and IBC with Earthwool 35mm insulation and held it all in tight to the tank with wire wrapped around that before the cladding.
Great looking Finish to the system, I will keep an eye on your thread to crow the progress..

Yeah I have insulated with aircell. I have two layer and the sheeting holding it in place.
Very cold at night here in winter so i thought insulation was a must.

Was thinking of what fish I will get for my system and I have just had a thought that i don't know how many fish my system could hold. The GB is 1.2m x 1m x 300mm. Could someone give me any idea on how many I should be thinking of?

300L of growbed so 6 to 10 fish would keep things going good
