Very excited here and I will try to search instead of being a pest. I am a little disapointed as my tote just arrived and I can see oil (looks petro based) inside. Do you think if I scrubbed it then left it in sun it would be OK? Also, any one have luck finding tilapia near Orange County CA??? Dave |

Welcome Dave Oil in your tote will be ok. Scrub it with degreaser and then liquid clourine a few times and pressure clean. When you fill it with water, throw in an aerator and let it off-gass for a few days in the sun. |

Yep, we used IBC's that had been used for motor oil, we had no problems at all, just cut them open and got in there with detergent and scrubbing brush, took a couple of goes to get it all out but only took perhaps an hour or so.. |
