hello i'm new here so i will introduce myself.
first off al sorry for my stone-age english..

i'm simon from holland and i'm going (try) to built my first AP system with a holding capacity of
7500 liter water for fish (trout/perch) a growing bed of what the dimensions are 5 by 1 by 0,40 meters.
all of this whill be constructed inside a greenhouse which wil have a size off 6 by 4 meters.
also i wil built a tank for lobster which will be something around 3 square meter water and 1,5 square meter of land/driftwood.

i wil make use off the forum for information and asking questions aswel seaking for people from holland or dutch speaking people.

Hello Simon,

Thats a whole lot of water! I have a similar amount of GB content with an IBC fish tank and an IBC sump tank. The system is very fresh, fish were are added last week after cycling.

hoi/hello,

the amount of water is because i want to be able to keep the temp and the tempflow as low as possible.
in the winter it can be -20 and summers can go up to +35.. (celsius)
i want to be able to have trouth in my pond all year long.

i put a discription of my plann on the members system board.
as soon as i wil start to construct i will but pictures there to.

nice to here my english is good enough!!

Well, trout is a very good option. Catfish is also a possibility but good be a little bit difficult to find. Carp would also be good, as it is edible and a hardy fish.

what kind off carp are you talking about? and carp is a slow grower isn't it?
can carp and trought go together in one pond?
it would be a good combination slow and fast growing fish together...

how about crayfish?
