Hello from Latvia! :wave1:
So, I am looking forward to start my own IBC aquaponics system.
But there is one quite large question. So: what are your thoughts about running aquaponics system in quite nasty and extreme climate? For refenrence:temperatures in winter are quite low, sometimes even below -20C. I mean: is it worth even trying or should I better stick with classical gardening? We are planning on heating our aquaponics greenhouse(not built yet). What would be the best temperature for winter time. I understand that there wont be any plant growing possible in winter but we are going to heat just to keep the fish alive.

P.S. Sorry if i posted this in the wrong category. ;)

Welcome,

There are quite a few that live in harsh environments. Have a look at this thread to get you going. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=9276&start=450
