I'm from Cape Town, South Africa and I'm pretty amped about the whole aquaponics/permaculture idea. I saw a decently sized system in operation in December 2011 for the first time and that got me hooked on the ideas. I've been doing a ton of reading since then.

I'm busy planning my greenhouse and AP system at the moment and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have lots of questions...

Hi Vern. Good to have a few more locals on the ap mission. My systems are running up in Hopefield side. We should get together sometime for a chat. My brother has a system, that I helped build, up and running in Zeekoevlei too... Soon we will be able to have a Westen Cape ap gathering!
