Newbie from Port Kennedy.
4000ltr (two ponds connected with a river). 10 Barra 200mm and 30 at 40mm. Tanks have seperators to keep the fish apart. :D I've done trout before (8 yrs ago) thought I'd try Barra. Gonna see if I can get an old solar hart or something like that to extend the season.

Hi and welcome 1mother :wave1:

We love pics mate.

Are you using your ponds to grow Vegies in a grow bed of some kind?

Hi Charlie,
thanks for the welcome. Yes I am going to use it for my vegi patch in two capacities. One will be run to waste for water changes of 10% per week and the other will be Hydroponics using expanded clay. I already have the normal dirt one but will make the Hydro one tomorrow. I'll attach two photos at this stage showing the Pond area and the vegy patch (During the build. which my wife calls the Taj mahal).

Sorry tried but I carn't reduce them to upload. I am going to sort out the software so I can send some photos.

Hi there 1 mother, can't wait to see the Taj Mahal :) Welcome to the forum.
When you say hydroponics, do you mean that you will be using it separately and adding chemical nutrients?

Hi 1mother and welcome.

I use paint.net to resize single pics (among other things) - assuming you use windows, it's free, open source and well supported.

For resizing batches of pics I use a package called Thumbnail Generator, again, free.

Looking forward to your pics :)

Dui.

Hi All,
At the moment I have 10 Barra and I am picking up another 30 today. I am also about to get some solar pumps and airators to keep it as enviro as I can. I'm just 'playing' at the moment.
