I am located in New Salem, NC and have been researching aquaponics for a few months now. I have read some complete builds in the Members Systems. This included JT’s build in Wilmington. My wife and visited his system last Thursday. The system is amazing and JT is a great guy to talk to about aquaponics, lots of knowledge. My system? Still just loose marbles in my head! And the Mr. Destructo title? That is my nickname at work. I run the testing lab at Coffing Hoist. They bring the hoist, I break them! Allen |

Not really hoist smashing. The electric chain hoist is installed on a beam and a weight attached to the lower hook. The hoist is cycled picking the load up and setting it back down, kind of like normal operations of a hoist. I just run them till the guts come out! Or on the wire rope hoist, run it till the wire rope breaks. 5 tonne load falling from 5 feet up will make you check your pants! |
