I'm Whitey here in downtown Werribee, I've been Quietly trolling the forum over the last few days enjoying the Plethora of info on my new Favourite subject. I haven't got a set-up quite yet but my current thinking is our existing Pond (approx 1200 litres) along with a bath tub GB to start with. the Pond currently has goldfish (if the Yabbies haven't polished them off) along with a sometimes visiting long-neck turtle that somehow made his home nearby who comes and goes as he sees fit. We keep an eclectic bunch of animals , Cat, 2 dogs (a Preggers Pug and a Bitsa terrier) 4 Chooks, 5 bearded dragons, a Blue-tongue, 1.8m Black Headed Python, 9ft Coastal Carpet Python, a pair of Rainbow Lorrikeets and pair (hopefully breeding) of Sugar Gliders, along with 4 kids at home 15- 21. My wonderful Wife has aggreed that I can set up a system as long as it doesn't look out of place.. The challenge is on.... but it'll be nowhere near as good as orcy2010's... Great looking system!!!! Is there a local supplier or Aquaponics guru locally to me here in Western Melb here I can check out a system in action.. Photos and vids are great but hands on works better for me. Cheers YT |
