Post subject:  Assistance and advices for Canadians

Hi All,

I am new to this forum however I have been visiting the website several times by now and I love the concept of those aquaponic systems.

I am looking forward to start a small aquaponic venture and I need some advices. I sent an email to: enquiries@backyardaquaponics.com
approximately 3 months ago and I received an automatic notification saying that my message was received and that someone was going to contact me shorthly however, no one replied to me to date.

I need to discuss with someone regarding the availability of aquaponic material and resources in Canada. I live in a very remote region in Northern Canada (Yukon Territory) and I would like to know where I could find similar systems (as yours on the website) but in Canada.

Do you ship to Canada? Let me know as I am really interested in your designs and would like to know about your shipment options.

Thank you all for your time.

Sincerely,

Josee

hi Josee,, costs for shipping would be pretty high..
lots of DIY info on the message boards, and lots of friendly folks to help..
stuff like "IBC Totes" and blue barrels can be re-purposed into ap, or wood frames with liners

Although I do remember that we had a rush of enquiries from Canada, the financial viablity of sending from Australia has not come to fruition. We receive an enornmous amount of emails on a daily basis as well as customers through the shop, no excuse I'm afraid. The forum is the best place to find out about what is happening in Canada and around the world as many people share what they know. Our prices for products are on the website and I can get freight prices when we have an idea of what we might be sending. Our freight company are probably sick of my enquiries when the overseas ones have never come off, despite lots of discussions and quotes.
