Hey all! My name is Mike, newly registered here as TheThinkTank, and I'm working toward the eventual development of a commercial aquaponics farm in Tampa, Florida. I'm running a few outdoor hydroponics systems now (aeroponics, DWC and ebb/flow), and am working toward my first prototype aquaponics system for the January growing season here in Florida. I've learned a lot about aquaponics so far, but I'm here to learn even more from what I've discovered to be a phenomenal community.

If there's anyone in the Tampa Bay or nearby in Florida, I'm here for in-person networking too. I'd love to meet like-minded AquaAddicts like myself in my own backyard. But beyond that, I'm excited to join this growing community of growing communities :)

I'm moving to Florida (about 2.5 hours from Tampa) in two years. Wife has family in Tampa, so we'll probably be there a lot. Definitely would be interested in seeing your system. I'm starting up small-scale indoor system right now (or so goes the plan), but when we move to Florida I definitely plan to upgrade and probably have a few outdoors systems if possible (I'm really wanting to grow avocado if it's possible out there).

Maybe I can drop by in a couple years and take a look at your setup.
