Ate most of the Swiss Chard yesterday. Sure cooks down to very little for a bucket of greens, but damn good eatin'.

Great photos Dave... but you need to size them down to 800x600 so that they display properly... and don't hog bandwidth when viewed

Get hold of the "image resizer" tool from the downloads section...

Yep...The pik's seem to be especially large. Can you be more specific and comment on the: Get hold of the "image resizer" tool from the downloads section... and how to do it for future pik's. I know just enough about puters to be dangerous. Thanks in advance Rupert for the help. :?

Go here Dave ... http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... ySetup.exe

Install it.... once installed... select the picture (or pictures... you can "batch" resize)....

Right click...and you'll see an option... "Resize Pictures" ,.... select.... and choose "medium 800x600".... it will create a resized image in the same folder with the filename.... "picture (medium).jpg" ....

Use the resized image to post .... fits nicely on the page...

November 22nd update. Tomato vines have gotten pretty high. The lattice behind them is 8' tall. Keep in mind that the grow media is only about 4" deep (not bad growth for just 4" deep). Broccoli doing pretty well also. Growth is slower than it could be considering that the grow bed receives no direct sunlight whatsoever at this time of year (I'd like to move it but can't...long story). Planted some peppers and cabbage last week that has since come up. I ate everything else. The goldfish of course continue to get bigger and bigger. Getting ready to build a bigger system in the near future. Also built a compost worm bed in the garage for all the kitchen and grow bed waste. The worms (2000 of them) should be here by Wednesday. Hope to sustain a large herd of the worms to feed to the goldfish...they love 'em.
