Probably Rupert but I would imagine they keep reforming. :)

Its this bit that rings a bell

In structured water, the "corners" of the hexagonal water, there are Oxygen atoms (extreme radicals), meaning that the fungus can not grow. They are litteraliy avoiding the Oxygen atom.

The avoiding the extreme radicals is not likely (though I have been proved wrong on this thread), but they will kill or disable bacteria and fungus.

Sorry, but this makes no sense. I realize that you are just repeating what you've heard, but I urge you to do a little more digging into basic chemical and biochemical principles.

Most amusing :) I was not repeating what I heard, I was quoting an excerpt from the first page and the only bit that rang a bell was the bit I highlighted, but I couldn't remember in what context.

But thank you, I will try to improve my basic chemical and biochemical knowledge, I'm sure it will be very useful. :)

Sorry for the confusion, but I was quoting and addressing the OP, not you. The timing didn't work well for us. :)

No we already figured out that when your water swirls it deactivates that's why it doesn't work in the land of Oz

The only problem with that theory is we dont have fill-a-bathtub and watch it flow away toilets in Aus, we have toilets that pound the crap out of the bowl and flush it away.

Hi guys! and sorry to wake this thread. I'm from sweden too...

There is this inventor and "amateur scientist", Bertil Petterson, who claims that is "invention" the "water whirler" can change, and improve, the molecular properties of water. Apparently he managed to sell one of his water whirlers to the government in 2001 and the "invention" has since then been criticized by established, and well known scientists. Or that is at least what it says on wikipedia. http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vattenvirvlare (sorry, only available in swedish)

According to the local newspaper "Ystads allehanda" ( http://www.ystadsallehanda.se/simrisham ... mlrum.html - also only in swedish) Bertil claims to be proficient with dowsing rods etc. Well, as you all ready figured out, this i probably bogus.

As a student at the faculty of science at Lund University i felt the need to ad some context to this "water whirler" topic.

Best regards,
Paul

Bogus indeed acording to the Swedish consumer protection

Bertil Pettersson is not alone about this sience many others belive in the electromagnetic wihrl effects on water

cheers
