Good to know there are a few other AQ enthusiasts in the region. Everyone I tell about AQ seems very interested in it. Have another acquaintance here in Innisfail who is into hydroponics. Will have try and convert him.

Yes, quite a bit of tree damage; and of course all the bananas are flattened. Power lines down and all that sort of thing. I was amazed at how quick we got reconnected. Those guys worked very hard.

Hi Jaymie & Frank

had the little system running for several weeks now. Finally got around to testing the waters.
ph=7.6
Ammonia=0
Nitrite=0
Nitrate=40

Bit of algae growth around the sides of the tank but the water is clear and the fish and plants are growing. Have started on the new greenhouse and have purchased a 2020 ltr tank.

Hooked I suppose!
