fair enough, thought at the time how easy it made it to expand they do a SS one though may just remake it in pvc. the PH in my system is pretty neutral at the moment so hopefully haven't caused any probs yet.

so checked my water this arvo

Amm : 0
PH: 6.5
Ite: 0
Ate: 20

not entirely sure how much Ates i should be happy with, obviously 0 means i'm using it all and maybe need to increase. so todays question would be what is a good number for Ates to sit at and where does it start to be an issue, Hmmm time for more research...

10s and 100a should be.fine if you ever get to thousands I'd be surprised. I don't reckon you need to worry in an AP system Freebz.

You two are aquaponics legends -
Look dear, there is a spot.
Mmm think we can fit another system in there? :dontknow:
I guess so
Sure we can :thumbright:
Lets take a trip to the lovely folk at the BYAP shop
Come in, we haven't seen you two since last weekend, wondering how things are growing :support:
See you next weekend
  Go team Freebz

yeah after the barrel system gets done will have to call it i think cos we have run out of space, if we had gotten our first system before we did the backyard i'm sure we would have the whole backyard in AP. Maybe some grass around it if it would survive in the crappy soil (builders fill) we started with.

Ok we are up and running. We are getting some corrugated iron sheets from one of the guys at work to sheet the outside and make it a bit prettier and i can now remember how to weld :D haven't done that in over 10 years.

will be using it as a seasonal tank when barra season hits till then will run silvers to eventually restock my other system.

the annual wood show is this weekend at the showgrounds, there's usually some very interesting stuff there, tools, wood supplies (marri, karri, jarrah, burls, etc.) demonstrations, craft (last year they had a grandfather clock made by the scrollsaw club that was brilliant) umm here's the link

not very aquaponic i know but still worth a visit if your interested
