Are you on the main site or tapatalk? You may need to get the tapatalk app to upload photos from mobile.

Great work. I love the simplicity of these single IBC systems, which is accentuated by the abundant production of fish and veges in a footprint just over 1 metre square.

Although some people do without them, I'm an advocate of regular water testing (especially to detect when the system is fully cycled) so I'd recommend a freshwater test kit and thermometer. Taking regular readings and charting the progress is a great exercise for the kids and gets them more involved (they may even learn something along the way?) After the system is cycled, the interval between tests can be increased, until finally they stop when you've enough experience to look at the system to detect problems.

Cheers bunson, were happy to learn all we need to know from this system while we stil complete novices. We have a master freshwater test kit and have been logging results almost everyday, even if it is at midnight(: work, kids n house take priority until we can incorporate them into AP(: in the future will def split the system, GB and FT required very different conditions, especially in the land of extremes, ie light, temp etc... That's why we love this site so so much, so many plans so little time and money(:
