So your original comment was about utilizing growbeds for your biofilters. There are people much more experienced than I, but I'll give it a go.
What is your goal for having the growbeds? Would you be eating the plants or feeding them back to the fish, or just to have some nice plants growing in filtration media of some sort?
From your pics I see windows to let in sunlight and light colored walls to reflect the light. Both are good for plant growth. Obviously you have made room in your life to have a bunch of aquariums in the house. If some of the growbeds didn't receive enough sunlight, a growlight shouldn't be too hard to arrange.
If it was me and it was in the house where it was the center of attention, I'd probably find some sturdy, nice looking containers to fit over each of the aquariums. Assuming, of course, that each tank has it's own pump and filtration unit. Would have to leave enough room from the top of the tank to the bottom of the growbed to allow for tank maintenance. Some sort of tall stand that had its feet on the floor to keep from stressing the tank.
This thread is very interesting, although he has his tanks and growbeds outside...
Fordy's System
Simply put...Pump the fish tank water up into the growbed, letting the growbed drain back to the fishtank. Your choice of constant flood in the growbed, flood and drain, etc... Whatever works for you.
Those are some nice fish, so do one tank/growbed at a time to make sure you get the kinks worked out and you keep the fish alive while messing about.
Keep posting. This is a great place for information. Pics are essential.
