Hello all!
I am excited to start. I will be newbie and since I have nothing to lose, I think this self employed business should be the coolest thing to create.
I am really into it, only theoretically, so watching YouTube vids really cool and exciting, inspiring.
But actually I don't know what to do.
I mean that I should have my property, I still don't know how much square or acres it is, but sure enough, more than a house size more than 2. Exactly I don't know, I am telling this but actually it really might be more and more, all depends on family business allowance.
But I know for sure there is a property of mine, by parents, I mean always that implicitly, that is like a house size.
I mean I don't have any kind of experience in agriculture, I live even in my house with basil and mint and pepper on my window sides, that seems a must for my parents, and I still live with them, but I dream of getting not necessarily rich, but at least self sufficient. So... What should I begin with?
What to do besides getting money to reach my property?

I am aware of lot of difficulties, also by YouTube, I don't watch only what pleases me, to dream only, I am using it, starting to, to actually learn and self education porpuse. I don't know how much far I can get in this way. I could mention the god of aquaponics, school of aquaponics that's the same basically, survival garden who are pretty and good for my tropical property that's central ovest of Ecuador. So I am reading even. But you know all for free I mean, that is total cool! Even bee breeding with some flow hive new thing there(this one is still fresh but excited to try it too alongside I will breed the right trees in my property).
I mean from zero, practical guide to start having already enough soil in tropical area?
To make you realize how serious I am I can tell you I studied the weather of the area, I can tell there does not blow too much wind, but could rain actually too much, and the wild nature there, oh my, it's really fantastic.
I am still ignorant of agriculture basis, I am aware of that like some months of research on aquaponics only, or mostly. Do I do fine presuming that my soils should be able to grow a lot and get me happy? Or should I expect nothing or the same or worst? Local preferred foods, I can even tell. They are potatoes and onions, tapioca, rice, then all the normal ever known, or so I presume since I find it easily by YouTube aquaponics showers. I mean then, for that products I am not so sure aquaponics covers, but most of concerns are about life cycle / harvest times, of each product, and space they will require in order to do the math of absolute profit. I started to watch how to build greenhouse or mini greenhouse for beds only, so you know, to calm down the concerns and make square all the math.
Well I should have clear for my self the total soil I can build on my aquaponics farm, I realized that. But if not, could I have the rest of information such as the exact harvest time of every good? At least for self sufficiency.
Thank you. I know a lot of questions. Hope someone can benefit too from.

Do you have any photo's of the space you have?

Do you have access to food-safe containers, like IBCs? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermedi ... _container)
