hey guys, thanks for the comments, doesnt seem like i am talking to myself when someone replies :wave1:

thanks for the pic, i have seen it before but its still hard to tell the difference. either that or i have ALL males! i was wondering if there wasnt another way to tell. :dontknow:

i went to check on the system today on my lunch break as i have not seen it since friday evening (its monday afternoon now) and I found 2 of my smaller fish have died. 1 in the new fish tank. 1 in the swirl filter. the one in the swirl filter is not exactly dead YET. but he is checking out! looks like he only has fins on 1 side and was staying still for a bit before trying to move.

snapped a pic while i was there of the growbeds.
