Hi guys, excited to write my first post, with a little introduction :).

I'm from Auckland, New Zealand, and have read and researched quite a bit about Aquaponics, and find it fascinating. I'm wanting to take the leap and build my own system, ideally a compact one, as I'm not sure where I would put it.

I've read the majority of Sylvia Bernstein's book, and watched almost the entirety of Aquaponics on YouTube  and figured that getting involved in some discussion would be great.

I'd be really keen to discuss ideas and builds, if there's anyone as well from New Zealand with any suggestions or tricks they've found that'd be awesome!

Thanks again, looking forward to getting involved, cheers :).

Hey Honeycomb! Ex-Kiwi here, you've got a good mild climate in Auckland to work with.

Welcome. Unfortunately our off shore cousins have some pretty tight restrictions when it comes to fish keeping. From what Ive read over the years your restricted to grass carp and alike so maybe check up on whats available/allowed in your area.
