Hey I'm Annie, I live in the Hawkesbury with my wonderful family that put up with all my projects and new ideas, including the fab idea of growing our own fish....."no worries it will be too easy"

After nearly three years of procrastination and trying to figure out how on earth it all works (I still have no idea :? ) my aquaponics is finally on the go. Must admit I had lost the drive with setting up my aquaponics until I met my now most awesome friend "Colours" and saw her AP set up. Wow. And then I tasted the smoked trout from the system....to die for.

I have two 500l water tanks as fish tanks that over flow into 4 grow beds(cut down IBC tanks) and a sump) I'm having trouble posting a photo but I will once I work out how.

Also, I wouldn't have been able to get as far as I have setting things up without Rob Bobs vids on you tube, I also bought my uni seals and Venturi from him. Fantastic service and some great advice...thanks Rob!

I had 20 trout delivered last weekend as all looking good I had another 22 delivered today. My fish came via Steve and Ben who I will need to find on this forum so I can give them props. Now all I need is a smokehouse........

So, hopefully I will be able to post my ideas and questions without sounding completely clueless.

Cheers everyone

Annie @ appletree

awww thx annie for motivating me to get MORE land animals although my grass hates you atm  .

download iresize on yr phone, put yr photos in that and adjust the size so they're no more than 800 pixels wide and 600 high, then you can upload them.

Steve - Rendang
Ben (formerly BenG) - now ben2.

And check out cookie's system, this guy has so much knowledge its incredible (and I hear he won't mind us crashing his place in barbados next time we're in the area. Right cookie?

Yes it is great to have more female members. Safety in numbers and all that....

Keep us posted!

Hi Fishwaste....As far as I know, they are rainbow trout. Correct me if I'm wrong colours.

Thanks Charlie, looks like the forum will be a great source of information.
