Hi all - we have been fascinated by aquaponics for a year or so, acquired an IBC a few months ago and today got some clay and a pump - so it is time to build the system.....

I'll be back with lots of questions I expect - just hope to not kill too many fish along the way.

Welcome to the bug and good luck. Unfortunate as it sounds, killing some fishes along the way is how we learn our lesson and mistakes. Most important thing in Aquaponics is patience.

hi everyone I have long jointed this site still working out how sent some bogs my aquaponics is about 4 months old I am looking to get some black soldier fly in WA but can not any one how sale them over here

Have you spoke to BYAP people? They probably don't sell them but they might have a bit more info.

Hiya noel welcome to the forum.
When you start a worm farm they will appear, prior to joining this forum I was concerned with these black cocoon looking things that seemed to be thriving in my worm bin and spent ages trying to get rid of them as I thought they were detrimental to it....
Now they live happily side by side with the worms.
