Fantastic forum, I am in the process of converting my pool in an Aquaponics system.

thanks Guys,

Pool was 35kl but I'm planning on only using the deep end as the pond which should be about 6kl and put the grow beds in the "shallow end".

as you can see it's still early days.

had a productive weekend and installed and planted two IBC Grow beds.

I was a bit concerned with the algae so have fitted a Gazebo until we get some more permanent shade over the pond.

We have planted Tomato's peas, lettuce, carrots, capsicum, broccoli and some herbs.

There are about 30 small "goldfish" in the pond, we were quite surprised to see a frog in the upper pond.

I am planning some more beds around the sides of the "pool" and would like to grow some pumpkin a bit later in the year.

Hoping to train the pumpkin up onto the "pool" surround paving, maybe they will need some cushions so they don't sit on the concrete?
