Ola!

New to this site and still trying to figure everything out.

So actually first of all when i send a message on this forum it goes to the outbox.... not the sent box.... whats up with that?


anyways. I am from Bulgaria, raised in Hawaii and the states and now i live in Bulgaria again.

I have just acquired a nice 160 liter barrel. and as i live in an apartment that gets sun for about 7 hours a day on the balcony i want to possibly use a tower system outside....

But i am revising my decision now cause i have been doing this small expreiment project with a 23 liter aquarium and a 10 liter tower. filled with expanded clay. for the first 3 weeks my strawberries were doing great. even got flowers. which surprised me cause i keep the aquarium inside and there is no sunlight. just got LED lights beaming on it. but now they all shrivel and die. and all thats left is my basil.... i was thinking that it might be the algea buildup that is not allowing the plants to recieve nutrition. but there is no algae and when i take the dead plant the roots have rotted.... whats whe problem. i need to figure out what i am doing wrong before i start playing with this 160 liter tank. so any advice would be wonderful.
