Hello everybody,
I just started learning about aquaponics a couple of months ago. I am starting out slowly, so I just aquired my first 20 Tilapia fingerlings a month ago, and I am raising them in a 55 gallon aquarium in my garage. So far they have doubled and even tripled there size.
I am currently just trying to keep them alive over the winter, fatten them up, and see if they will possibly breed. I am also researching grow bed designs, and I am hoping to start building one soon. I am currently unemployed and looking for work, so I have to do this slowly and as cheaply as possible.
Are there any other members from the North Texas region? If so, maybe we could meet up and I could learn some stuff from your setups.
