Catfish are a no brainer. I have killed 5 of my 20 but that was due to me leaving the town water topup running all night. The next morning the silvers, goldfish and bass that were in that system with the catfish all dead. The catfish took a week or more to finally sucome to the chlorine death.
The other 15 in the big community tank are fine and growing well.
The jury is still out on Cod as I am just trying them for the first time

Had to be in Melbourne overnight on Wednesday so ended up 'dropping in' on John at Glenwaters Native Fish on the way back - bit of a detour but worth the effort. fter much discussion we thought we would bite the bullet a went for 50 Catfish an 50 Murray Cod. After Richard's comments we were definitely looking at CF for one tank, it was just what we were going to put in the other? The way I have it set up I can utilize 2 of the 4 ST for fish when the MC get bigger and start fighting/cannibalizing.

Would be interested in any tips on the MC as they get bigger. Presently should be no issues as they have been raised by John on the fine pellets and are feeding well off them - I just need to keep them from getting hungry!

Just been talking to John... he's basically out of stock of catfish from today....

Has a couple of hundred left... but they're pre-ordered...
