Hi folks,
I just spotted this stawberry tower setup and thought it would make a good addition to my AP system.
http://www.ricardoes.com/
Any reason why it wouldn't work with an AP system?
Cheers,
Adrian

Awesome! To run that with AP you will need filteration in between fish tank and and the towers.

LOL OBO it was exciting! About 5km from home the 4 of them lifted out of the trailer and went bouncing down the road.
Of course this happened on a section of road that was 15 feet above the surrounding countryside and had guard rails on both sides of the road for about 400m and nowhere to pull over till the end of the guard rails. So here is dopey me running back to get the barrels before the wind from the semitrailers roaring up the Bruce Highway could drag the barrels back out into the traffic. I must admit I got a few funny looks jogging back to the trailer with a blue barrel in each hand. :D At the end of it the barrels only had minor gravel rash and no one had run into any of them but it was a bit hairy for 10 mins or so. Should be getting underway with the system in the next week or so Chainsaw. Depends on whether H&C insurance will buy us a new water tank. Mower threw a huge rock through the existing one.
Cheers,
Adrian

Well it is funny how life gets in the way of a perfectly good plan. A few minor delays such as our only decent rainwater tank turning into a water feature tied up my IBC's till a couple of weeks ago. 2 of them became our household water tanks until a new poly tank arrived to replace the house tank. Now that that is out the way I can make a start on the AP :D
Should have some pics in the near future.
Just going to run with loop siphons to begin with on a small system untill I get the hang of it. Then build from there.
Like most of the threads I have seen I am already fantasizing about the 2nd and 3rd systems. :D
Thanks for all your supportive comments!

Holy Crap! I just saw the date on Chainsaw's last reply. It seems the delay was a little longer than I thought.

Well a trip to Brisbane could not be concluded without a trip to see Murray. He and Gail were brilliant and took plenty of time to show us around and really give us an understanding of how they do things. Thanks Murray :D
On the other side of the coin the rain has been a major hindrance to my planned system. We have had 14 inches in the last 18 days. The site I want to build my system on needs a couple of retaining walls which is no problem as I got a good deal on 4 pallets of blocks but the ground is just too wet to do a damn thing. So will have to lurk in here for a while longer :D
