So, combine all this with a DOS program on a stoneage laptop, ditch the radio/remote feature and I should be able to make it do anything I need. I think I might be over egging this cake, but I've been reading TCL's 'Repeat Cycle Timer' thead and I got all dazzled. I can't understand a word, but it sure looks interesting. I wish I'd done some sort of electronics course at school.

I read the Major Mitchell post the other day with the 10000lph pump from Age of Aquariums ( :) ), and I am starting to think I'm heading in the wrong direction with the inline impeller Grunfos. Given that I will probably need a bigger pump anyway, should I replumb to this pump, meaning I can still keep my old pump and plumbing set up as a back up? It is a sump pump right?

Dex.

I've started a system thread so I don't bottle up the New Member Intros any more.
Seems like the right thing to do
