When it's not a total fire ban... it'll be a bit hit and miss ;-)
I was meant to be hosting one soon, but my system is in such disarray (meant to be finished by xmas) that you can't walk about outside without having to climb :-(

We havent put it on the trailer yet...I'm working out how to make it safe...at this time I cant make it secure and I dont need 750kg of oven coming through the rear of the car in an accident :)

750kgs of oven? could we not scale down the amount of brick used to just that which forms the dome? Surely that'd only be 400kg or so? then stand and other bits could be timber or steel.

750kgs is a lot. You will need a tough trailer. Trailer will weigh 500kg minimum
so at this point you're needing a 4WD or something big to pull it safely.

I am trusting you have a trailer? And you know all about ovens... if you were to post some specs, I could do some figures and give some design advice for securing it.

yeah I know, although I didn't read enough of the Hamish debacle to know what it was about. It's almost unwritten, but this is not a commercial website. I have never heard Joel mention that he can supply this or that, (other ppl mention it of course) but I have admired the modesty and non "pushyness" of members here.
This is precisely why I suggested a thread where you could give a single post saying what it is you do and offer in regards to AP, cos I didn't know we had a distributor 2 minutes up the road!!!!!
I don't want it to have a continual update and sales pitch, just a register of who there is and where they are.
Regards,
Hamish.

There is a thread for that purpose Kuda .... viewforum.php?f=37

I've added my details there... viewtopic.php?f=37&t=4902

Monya has listed The Fish Farm... but perhaps both Monya and Live Beyond should post a thread similar to mine....

So that each state is clearly identified for BYAP purchases....
