There is no treatment Bob... admission of the addiction helps ease the pain... or at least provides the excuse for all the money you spend feeding the addiction anyway...

Welcome aboard...

Jaymie , Im going to finally argue that point that everyone keeps bringing up - that theres "No Cure" for aquaponics addiction ...

I think there is - it involves millions of dollars in setup costs , hundreds of fish deaths , a good business plan ..

I think Ive figured out a cure , but its gonna take a few years and more money than I'll ever have . Maybe if we welcome new members with " welcome to your new life , the only cure is setting up a successful commercial venture ..."

and , welcome Bob

heheheheh

Sorry for your wintertime AP woes there in the chilly north! But so long as you are not feeding the fish and keeping enough air going to them, hopefully they will survive till the grow beds thaw out and you can get filtering!!!! Next year you probably need to set up some sort of green house to keep the grow beds from freezing over winter.

I don't know, would a big successful commercial venture really cure some one of the addiction? Synaptoman just keeps building new commercial systems and he still seems to keep building stuff at home!

Yup, just like the fun loving fishies: From fish tank to sump tank to pump intake... These addictions never seem to end well.
