Hello All!

New to the aquaponics scene - been a fan of fish and plants my whole life, but never combined the two

I'm in the process of building a 14' x 20' greenhouse in Surrey BC (Near Vancouver, BC Canada).

I have a nice size garden and plan to raise seedlings in the greenhouse, and transplant outside. If all goes well, I may sustain a small commercial operation for micro/salad greens.

I plan to raise Tilapia (because of the fast growth) but may run into some issues over the winter here. I'm not sure what temperatures I can sustain over the winter but I think I should be able to get a batch of tilapia yearly, and then winter with a more hardy fish.

You're the second person from BC to turn up here recently. Looks like you've already got a green thumb.
