welcome farmer.

Jaymie has a system the size that you're proposing.

For my part i would like to see you with a 3,000 system while you're building the larger one.

It will allow you to learn while still being big enough to produce large amounts, and you can always use it to seed your larger system :)

As you work on your plans for a big system, you could have a small system going that can later be worked in as part of the bigger system or perhaps be used as a quarantine system for when you get new fish before you put them in with the rest in the big system.

Seriously I think you should just go for it. There's enough experience and knowledge here on the forum and you can learn from the mistakes that we have already made in ou own small and large systems.
A few simple tips though:
1. do alot of reading
2. ask alot of questions
3. post alot of photos as you go
4. dont stick a whole load of fish in at once, just a small group at a time
5. you can build a huge pool and a small grow bed and then add more grow beds later.
