The Cannington Exhibition Centre on the corner of Stations St & Albany Highway in Cannington, Western Australia will be holding this years Garden Clubs and Societies Fair. Around 3o specialist societies will be showcasing a diverse variety of plants from rare palms, cycads and ferns to herbs, hibiscus, frangipanis, begonias, daylilies, african violets, orchids,, salvias, bonsai, cactus, succulents, geraniums, fuschias, gerberas,bulbs, roses and hoyas. The specialists from these groups are a wealth of knowledge and talks will be ongoing throughout the two day event.
Doors are open from 9am-4pm.
If you want to grab a bargain come down and say hello. Backyard Aquaponics will have a small display selling heritage seeds, magazines and talking aquponics. I will be giving a brief talk about "growing fish and vegetables in your own backyard" at 2.30pm Sunday.
