We also now have printed magazines and printed subscriptions available worldwide. Unfortunately it costs a bit more overseas, postage for each printed magazine is very expensive, we are trying to find a cheaper method. Please check the magazine website for further details.

http://www.byapmagazine.com/nineissue.html

There's a wide variety of articles in this edition, including an interview with Rick Mueller from Growing Power.

Aquaponics Perfection
Steve S tells us all about his systems that he's built in his backyard.

Watercress
Rowena gives us lots of information about watercress including a few recipes for this plant that is perfect for aquaponics.

Food and Fish : Free from the backyard
A tribute to Food and Fish for all of the help he offers people, and the experiments he does.

Slugs in the Garden
Faye Arcaro looks at slugs in aquaponics. Slugs can be an issue in systems because they love the conditions of aquaponics systems.

Interview - Rick Mueller
An exclusive interview with Rick Mueller, Rick maintains the aquaponic system at Growing Power, where they produce an enormous amount of food and help disadvantaged people learn how to grow their own food.

The Siphon
We take a look at all the different types of siphons you can include in a system, how they are applied in aquaponics, and their strengths and weaknesses.

We also have articles from Rob about the fantastic systems in his greenhouse. Mark gives us another installment in Picking from the patch. Affnan tells us all about his siphon modifications, and much more.

Here are a few sample pages for you to get an idea of the contents and layout.

Great read, I must admit I have never heard of growing power before, what an amazing story. Now I just need to find a business to sponsor me on a trip over to visit them so I can bring some of their learning back here to our school garden and system
