Got a message back on the 9th from Felix in Puerto Rico but I was offline and in Kansas City so just noticed it today. Quote: Hey Scotty. Thanks for the note. We're good. Luquillo rarely lacks the most important thing, clean water. We just have no power, phone or inrernet. Im using the local cable company's free wifi in front of their building. We lost our carport, which had a metal roof. One of my rental properties also lost part of the metal roof and made a huge mess. Most of my fish died during Irma. Right after Maria I set up the 4 IBC fish tanks I had been planning to since the beginning. I split the survivors among them, and I turn the water around a couple times a day by plugging the pump into the outlet in my Tacoma for 10 minutes. Will be doing a fish fry soon. I hear that the people in the center of the island arent doing too hot. We're ok though. Fuel lines are back to normal, and from time to time I get a bag of ice from the marina. Having ice makes a BIG difference! Doing lots or reading & staying busy at the house. If there's a hurricane Maria post on the board, please let them know I hope everyone is well. Feel free to repost this whole message if you wish.
