Post subject:  water level in dwc bed

hi

what would be the water level in a DWC bed. Should the roots be submerged in water or there should be some gap. The grow bed height would be standard.

thanks

If you're talking Floating Raft DWC, them most people use 50mm foam sheets for the raft and use net pots that are about 60-70mm deep, so just the bottom 10-20mm of the media in the net pot is in contact with the water.

300mm is the widely accepted standard water depth for Floating Raft DWC.
