We are having a few issues with our hosting people at the moment, I've just spent over an hour on talking to our hosting support and they couldn't figure it out, they have raised a ticket for their support people to look into it..

Sorry, expect some issues over the next little while till it gets sorted... :geek: :bootyshake:

Dammit, where will I get my AP fix from (it's dark and light is broken in FT, so real AP is not an option :( )

lol.... Nothing like dealing with support people is there.. :geek:

Although the forum is working ATM, things still aren't right, I already reset the server this afternoon after the forum was throwing socket errors. I restarted it again about an hour ago after more crashes and things are back up again but I still can't see half of the backend. And according to the support guy, the error logs are empty.. :dontknow:

I can't guarantee things won't go :puke: again at any time, but they are supposed to be onto it...

I've noticed logging on at times I can't connect on the first or second attempt but it connects on the third, it doesn't happen all that often, once week maybe :dontknow:

Empty support logs can be a sign of a break in. No support logs makes it easier to cover their tracks. I hope that's not the case here EB and it all gets sorted for you soon.

When I first joined, I wasn't getting subscribed topic notifications, which lasted a few months. Since the last forum crash a week or so ago, I'm once again not getting them.

Yes it seems like there are still some ongoing issues.... Every 12 months or so we go through a spate of issues for a few days where things just seem to keep randomly crashing. If you see things are down, please send me an email just in case I haven't seen as I can't be watching 24/7, then I can restart the server...

It should all be sorted out soon with a bit of luck and then things will be smooth for the next 12 months or so..

Our host is having some downtime at some stage...

Quote:
The maintenance scheduled for your VPS package will not begin until midnight on the evening of September 30th into Thursday morning.
While this maintenance will require downtime, we have every intention of completing the work as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Great for an international hosting company to not actually tell you what time that is based on... :dontknow: So some time, things will be going down for a bit, so don't be surprised.. :dontknow:

Not worth it I'm afraid... they are sooo slow to respond, the last time when we were having issues they responded something like 48 hours later saying "there doesn't seem to be an issue, your website loads ok.. Yeah, there had been issues for days but by then it was working...
