Welcome to the backyard aquaponics discussion board.

Aquaponics for those that haven't heard of it before, is the combination of aquaculture (growing fish) and hydroponics (growing plants without soil). They can be combined beautifully into a synergistic closed loop system that's an increadibly productive and efficient method of producing food, as well as being a great learning tool, and lovely to look at.
