There have been some great photos that have been posted to the group since it's inception and I'd like to get some of the best pictures all in the one spot, so it's time for a competition to find the best backyard aquaponics pictures. Some people complained that the last DVD giveaway for members systems was too quick, so I'll give you all a little longer to get your photos in order for this one. The closing date will be the 31st November. Each member can submit up to 3 photos and photos are to be submitted to this thread: http://backyardaquaponics.com/forum/vie ... 5739#65739 The competition is open to all members, and photos will be judged on there overall appeal, not on a technical basis, but they must be related to aquaponics in some way. What will you win? First prize - is a brand new Nikon Coolpix L6 Digital camera, with a 1GB memory card. See details below. Second prize - is the set of 6 aquaponics DVD's. Quote: Created with a slim, lightweight design, the COOLPIX L6 offers the imaging performance of 6.0 effective megapixels. It also has an optical 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens with a focal range of 38 - 116mm (35mm equivalent) - making it a cinch to capture everything from pleasing portraits to expansive landscapes with true-to-life color and fine detail. Furthermore, the COOLPIX L6 delivers the world's longest battery life* - being able to shoot up to an incredible 1,000 images when using the supplied Energizer™ lithium AA-size batteries! Highly convenient, such extended battery life is ideally suited to travel or when capturing important events, such as a wedding, where you can't afford to run out of power.
