Is there anyone interested in getting together at my garden in Jandakot WA for an afternoon catchup. Perhaps 2pm on Saturday 7th July for afternoon tea and look at my trout and veges.

Lkb that is a shame because the Jandakot airport is just a couple of kilometres away, maybe next time

Les has had his pilots license permanently taken off him Faye, something to do with his cognitive functions deteriorating with old age

I think you're being a little unfair Mon, the investigation clearly determined that the cause of the crash was petrol starvation.

Les was absolutely correct in his calculated fuel requirements for a 200km flight.

CASA has determined that had it not been for his sleep apnea (and the length of the resulting nanner nap) Les would have in fact arrived at his destination with fuel to spare.

Whether or not Les should have foreseen overflying his destination by another 100km is now really somewhat of a mute point as his current dimentia probably means he can't even remember where he last parked the plane anyway.

although the impact marks are still clearly visible from google earth
