Thanks all for coming.

I had a great afternoon, and it was good to catch up with everybody again, and to meet new ppl like VeggieGirl, Geoff and Mat. (hope I didn't miss anybody)

Thanks a bunch to all the ppl who brought sweets (and salad and cheese and wine), and to everybody who came for not eating everything, I do so have a sweet tooth. You're all enablers to my addiction, you know that!
Almost every item in the salad was AP grown, from all around the state.

I can't wait for the next one. Embi and Stuart are now both vying for the right to host the 'Actual' Summer get together.

Shall we make it a bidding war like the Olympics?
Who has the better facilities? Embi has a wood fired oven... mmmmm yumm, but Stu has a nice place up in the mountains, and a peaceful getaway...

What a day,
Opened the car door to the clatter of a mobile phone disappearing down the storm water drain directly below my feet.
No problem, got a wheel nut spanner in the boot.
Lift the concrete slab and take a quick sub surface detour, (See Embi's Photo) and the phone was back in my possession.
Lucky the BBQ was lunchtime as I dont think I would have tried to retrieve it later that night.

Met lots of new and old friends over a good feed.

So a quick one... I think its a great idea to host it when the visitors are over this way. Who wants to host it though. Seems there are a few contenders. I am willing but also happy for someone else do it. I don't want to step on any toes.

Well I haven't had a bite from Stuart yet Embi, and God knows I've been fishing in this thread, so you might be right to go ahead with it.
Give him a few days though, the oft takes a while.

I've been too busy fishing and milling.

I'm up for a real Summer get together and March would be great for an Autumn get together.

I'll have a chat with Sarah about timing but Jan would probably be better than feb.
