EB

Fact: if your website had a virus, more than one person would be sending you messages, in fact I would expect most of them would come via phone to the shop. and your phone would be constantly engaged.

The person who called more than likely had either a virus on his pc or the AV software was misreporting.
I don't suppose they told you if their AV software was a licensed full version of one of the top 5-10 products ?

I wouldn't be concerned about this one

Sorry about the scare EB... the strange part was it was only happening on backyard`s web/forum. Avast was picking it up. got to the point the comp wouldn't even boot properly. anyway after checking the comp several times with two different anti virus(came up negative), then two different antispyware (again nothing!!??) by this stage I`m thinking hard drives had it, went to use task manager only to find my phone sync software is running 30-40 times??? used good ol spybot to stop it from starting at boot... all is good, done more scans still nothing.
So how or why my phone sync is causing this dont know :don't know: hardly use it.
So again my apologies for that text... I was just concerned

My HTC has a unique look to it now. Dropped it out side and landed face down on a stone. The cracked screen looks cool and it still works :D

My old Nokia has been dropped in the toilet or the fish tank about twenty times... and still works....

It's been dropped down a cavity wall.... off the top of greenhouses... kicked, sat or trodden on etc etc...

They don't make 'em like they use to.....

You could try opening the phone up... blowing a can of compressed air over it, if you have one... then gently drying it with a blow dryer...

If it doesn't come back to life... then it's a brick....
