Hi all here are a couple of photos I know the comps over but here are a couple of nice shots of mine...These are a few of our neighbours that drop in every morning and every arvo and sometimes so close that they poop on the verandah... heheh The kids love the bush...

just a couple more

not putting this in the competition as its not in my AP ( anymore - it flowered soon after I put it out in the dirt )

but thought I might aswell put it in this thread anyway

can someone tell me how to put photos in please

No problem

1. Take photo
2. Save to a location on you computer
3. Make sure it is in JPEG format to be safe (other file formats are accepted but not all)
4. Make sure it is no bigger than 800 x 600
5. When creating a post or reply scroll down to the "Upload attachment" section and click "Browse" next to the "filename" box
6. Locate the picture saved to your computer and click on it.
7. Click on "Add the file" next to the "file comment" box and wait while it uploads.

You can repeat this process to a total of 3 pictures per post and they will appear in reverse order unless you use the "Place inline" feature which has now appeared in the "attachments" section immediately below the text box.

If you are having trouble resizing you photos download this microsoft image resizing tool: http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... ySetup.exe

Once downloaded you simply right click the photo you want to resize and choose "resize pictures" from the pop up menu and check the "medium (fits a 800 x 600 screen)" option and it will save a copy of the photo in the desired size to the same file containing the original photo.

Thanks Simo, was just about to say that myself, but you have done it with much better detail.

For those running Windows 7 ... you'll find the old ImageResizer in the link above.... doesn't work with windows 7... and MS hasn't released an update...

Although red beard could be asking a different question... you cannot actually post pictures in this thread... there is no option to do so...

Actually I cannot post a picture in the Announcement forum... the picture attachment portion of the post reply do not show up...
